"Dead Heat" is a situation where
two horses in the same race tie in the first, second or third places.
Where there is a "Dead Heat" in the designated race,
the prizes will be determined as follows :
(a) "A-type" forecast of 3D and
1+3D Games
- In a "Dead Heat" for first place between two horses,
there will be no 2nd prize.
- Prize payable shall be the combined prize pool of both the
1st and 2nd prizes divided equally between the two numbers attached
to the horses in the dead heat.
- In a "Dead Heat" for second place between two horses,
there will be no 3rd prize. Prize payable shall be the combined
prize pool of both the 2nd and 3rd prizes divided equally between
the two numbers attached to the horses in the dead heat.
- In a "Dead Heat" for third place between two or more
horses, the prize payable for the 3rd prize shall be divided
equally between the two numbers attached to the horses in the
dead heat.
(b) "ABC-type" forecast of 3D and
1+3D Games
- In a "Dead Heat" for first place between two horses,
there will be no 2nd prize. Prize payable shall be the combined
prize pool of both the 1st and 2nd prizes divided equally between
the two numbers attached to the horses in the dead heat.
- In a "Dead Heat" for second place between two horses,
there will be no 3rd prize. Prize payable shall be the combined
prize pool of both 2nd and 3rd prizes divided equally between
the two numbers attached to the horses in the dead heat.
- In a "Dead Heat" for third place between two horses
in the 1+3D Game, the prize payable shall be the combined prize
pool of the 3rd prize and one (1) starter prize divided equally
between the two numbers attached to the horses in the dead heat.
There shall be one less starter prize.
- In a "Dead Heat" for third place between two or more
horses in the 3D Game, the prize payable for the 3rd prize shall
be divided equally between the two numbers attached to the horses
in the dead heat.
