Over 300 participated in the Klang Medical Outreach Programme

The Rotary Club of Kelana Jaya and The Rotary Club of Port Klang have jointly organised an annual medical outreach programme at SJKC Pandamaran A with over 300 people participated in the programme.

Lim Boon Chui, President of The Rotary Club Port Klang said in his speech that this annual programme that provide free medical checks for the underprivileged in the community has been organised for the past 19 years. This charity programme aims to help the underprivileged to seek medical treatment, therefore received supports from the government bodies and sponsors, bringing this medical outreach programme to villages, benefitting the public.

Michael Wong, President of The Rotary Club of Kelana Jaya said that the medical outreach programme covered general medical consultation, dental checks, pap smear, eye screening; other than the nurses assigned by the clinic, and traditional Chinese medical consultation were also there to provide back bone diagnosis and acupuncture.

He thanked SJKC Pandamaran A for the venue sponsorship, Klinik Kesihatan Klang and its dental department, Pan Malaysian Pools, Top Vision Eye Sdn Bhd and Bai Shi Yin Guang Li Liang.
